My buddy Clay Vermulm and I had a great chat recently about my latest story for the Beneath the Rain Shadow podcast, “Leave No Trace.” I won’t spoil too much here but let’s just say there are fire elementals, salamanders, campfire stories, and bones… lots of bones. We also talked about writing under deadlines, trying to squeeze in writing while being over-the-top busy, and whether dream images help or hinder this (or any) story.
