Look, I was over the moon about seeing my humble little 5:37-minute poetry film make it into the Womens International Film Festival last June in Rehoboth Beach, DE, and psyched to be able to represent it live TONIGHT at the West Sound Film Fest in Bremerton, WA.
Then I found out “Look Up”—about a young woman with multiple sclerosis who seeks the therapeutic value of urban forest-bathing (“shinrin-yoku”) to get relief for her fatigue and malaise—is going to be screened later in August at the Freedom Festival International in Columbia, SC and in the Resonans: A Fringe of Nature & Culture in Copenhagen, Denmark!
The encouragement is amazing. I can’t wait to have the headspace to work on another poetry film again!
In the meantime, come see me at the West Sound Film Fest this weekend!
