All I want for Xmas is a book review… from you!

LEFT TO RIGHT (see book descriptions at the bottom of this post): Cul de Sac Stories (July 2024, Aqueduct Press) Intention Tremor: A Hybrid Collection (Jan 2021, MoonPath Press) Lurking: A Dark Decades Anthology (Sept 2024, Inky Bones Press) True Stories VI: The Narrative Project (Jan 2024, Sidekick Press)

You cannot know how critical it is for obscur-ish authors like myself to glean positive reviews in Amazon and other places.

Especially Amazon. I know, I know, I am not a fan either, but that is the landscape we’re working with in 2024. It really doesn’t even matter if you like Amazon, the fact is that others will go first to Amazon to find their next reads and positive reviews boost my book’s visibility in a very overcrowded space.

So please… if you’ve read Cul de Sac Stories, Intention Tremor, Lurking, or True Stories VI, please drop me a review wherever possible. (See below for more information about each!)

Your review can just be a starred rating, or you could leave even just one line describing something you liked about the book you read. It can take less than five minutes.

I’m grateful for whatever time and attention you can put toward this really important part of my author journey.

ALSO! Don’t forget to simply post what you think in your social media channels, including a buy link to the book you want to review (either from a bookseller, from the publisher, or directly from me… and I can send signed copies!)

Thank you for your support, it makes me want to keep writing!

Haven’t read them yet but want to know more?
  • CUL DE SAC STORIES collects dark fiction with feminist quirks to question our ideas about safety in exurbia (speculative stories)
  • INTENTION TREMORĀ chronicles the five years following my multiple sclerosis diagnosis (personal poetry and flash nonfiction) using honesty, humor, and hope
  • LURKING collects short technology horror that focuses on social media and cyberspace. My short story, “Lather, Rinse, Repeat,” is a cautionary tale capturing an unusual cyberstalking incident (horror stories)
  • TRUE STORIES VIĀ collects stories from graduates of the Narrative Project which illustrate all the different ways people can overcome personal obstacles. My essay, “Outer Limits,” describes a particular experience I had as a solo hiker (personal essays)
