I’ll be in great company when my peers in Nisi Shawl’s year-long speculative fiction workshop read for the May gathering of Two-Hour Transport.

From their website: “The Hugo Nauts are a dazzling array of polished veterans and emerging stars who are determined to lift you out of the mundane and into the extraordinary world of their visions.”

We’ll each read a small excerpt from our works in progress. I hope you’ll be able to join us!

PERFORMING WITH PLANTS

I’m returning to the Group Performance Creation Workshop for another 6-week adventure in generating performance art and practicing aspects of devised theater. If you’re interested in joining up, here are the details!

WE’RE TAKING IT OUTSIDE, Y’ALL!

WHAT: Performing with Plants, a 6-week performative exploration of the natural world.

For those of you that joined our last class, or even those that saw the showcase – something special about this round is that most of our classes will begin outdoors, dealing with prompts given to us from Nature, and THEN we’ll move into the creative space to generate material.

WHEN: Sundays, 7pm (starts May 21, ends June 25… plus a possible show date)

COST: The sessions are donation based and 100% of “profits” are going into making these sessions more accessible, building the community, and paying for our lovely space (thanks SoulFood again!).
