[TONIGHT!]
AUG 1:
Artist’s Alley, downtown Bremerton, First Friday Arts Walk

The West Sound Film Festival is sponsoring a special Artist’s Alley of creative local vendors in the heart of the new Quincy Square. I’ll be there tabling for the Seattle Chapter of the Horror Writers Association with Clay Vermulm. Swing by, check out HWA membership, and get a copy of Rain Shadows!

AUG 2: My latest Substack drops!

On August 10, we’re having our Rain Shadows launch party… and subscribers to my Substack get entered this month into a drawing for a free copy. I highly recommend you subscribe free to my monthly Substack! to enjoy this opportunity!

AUG 10: Rain Shadows Launch Party!

You’re invited to join Clay Vermulm and I as we celebrate the release of our beautiful new book! Event is free and open to the public. Location: 2 Fingers Social in West Seattle. Time: 730-10pm. There’ll be giveaways, readings, sideshows, and more! All the details can be found at RainShadowStories.com.

AUG 13-17: WorldCon 2025, Washington State Convention Center

This is a big deal; it’s been decades since the world’s largest SFF convention was hosted in Seattle. I’ll be there wearing many hats: as a panel moderator, as a tabler for the HWA and Cascade Writers, as an author looking for connections (with books in tow) and as an attendee. Let me know if you plan to go and we can figure out how to link up!

AUG 14: Read-A-Roke at 2 Fingers Social

Clay and I will be there sharing bits from our own work, hopefully bringing some WorldCon out-of-towners there with us. It’s a fun and eclectic horror-centric venue and you’ll enjoy listening to a lot of spooky tales at the mic.

AUG 30: Summer Scares HWA Reading at Kirkland Arts Center

Don’t think summer is a spooky season? Think again! The HWA is bringing in eight readers to darken up the dog days. I’ll be there reading a story about, hmmmm, gardening? Harvesting? You be the judge.
