Spooky Season Substack finds: Spooky Plants, Mother Rot, The Old Ways, Toil and Trouble

In spite of having COVID over the second week of October, I didn’t do a lot of reading (it’s an MS “brain fog” situation, I think). I did watch a bunch of scary movies, though, and that got me fully into Spooky Season mode.
