Sunday Meditation: Seeds of community

What I don’t use, I give away.

This mammoth harvest of cilantro (I let it get out of hand, then a storm came and broke the stalks) is heading for the local food bank. The green bowl is what I’m reclaiming for my own use. (Trust me, there will be more.)

I am happy I finally beat the plant before it started going to seed. Usually I wait too long, and then it’s too late.

Plenty of herbs here to go to a lot of families by the time I’m finished portioning it out.
