While this event (free and open to the public) is not on the official Rain Shadows book tour, Clay and I will be in attendance at the Cascade Writers Workshop open mic at 8pm on Friday July 11. The event takes place at Grumble & Wine wine bar in Bremerton, very likely reading from our new collection.

Even if you’re not going to the workshop itself, you can come and listen and even sign up for the open mic!

Make a night of it! Highly suggested… come early for Wendy Wagner‘s Secret Book Launch with Ballast Books at 7pm; she’ll do a little reading and talk about her anticipated new novel, Girl in the Creek, followed by Q&A and writerly talk. Wendy describes her book as blending “horror, climate change, and …scary mushrooms.” (Of course, I will be there because… scary mushrooms!)
